He came across the border to seek that one shot at happiness, as challenging it may seems at times, there are no short cuts. Be it love, career or friendship, PAIN must be felt along the way but only to make him stronger at each turning point. He may be missing his close friends and family back home, but he should also know they are only a heartbeat away.
If he embraced his future today, it will be boundless. As long as his heart is at the right place, that chance at happiness as he would rightly puts it - is within his palm, and only Heaven knows, he has made the right choice.
